The Manager 2, Project Management will direct, lead, promote and administer quality improvement (QI) projects as a Principal Investigator (PI), CoPI, or subject matter expert research initiatives for the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC). The Project Director will design, implement, and lead the QI, research and administrative efforts of project team members. Project responsibilities include maintaining relationships with project sponsors and partners, as well as building new partner relationships; leading the development and execution of project goals and activities; guiding the activities of project teams, including project managers, researchers, consultants, and subcontractors; providing professional development and coaching to direct reports and project team members; project development, including grant and proposal writing, and directing QI projects. Additionally, the selected candidate will serve as a member of the GRC Leadership Team, supervise project management staff, and may serve as a Principal Investigator or CoInvestigator for selected projects.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of five years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or three years of relevant experience with an advanced degree is required.
Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a preemployment physical including a drug screen.
Additional Desired Qualifications
Eight to twelve years of relevant experience is preferred. Experience supervising project management staff andor leading multidisciplinary teams is preferred. Training andor experience in leading research and evaluation methodology including survey design or a mixed methods approach to evaluation is preferred. Experience in behavioral health andor maternal and child health program implementation andor evaluation is preferred.
The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center’s mission is to identify, research, and spread innovative practices to improve access to quality healthcare for all Ohioans through partnerships with healthcare, state, and academic leaders.
