Your Role as a Revenue Insights Analyst

Were expanding our Marketing & Revenue Operations team and seeking a highly analytical and strategic Revenue Insights Analyst. This role is critical to our success, as youll be responsible for compiling and analyzing all gotomarket (GTM) data to provide actionable insights and identify key challenges. Youll work crossfunctionally to drive improvements across marketing, sales, and partnerships, directly impacting our revenue growth and overall GTM effectiveness.

A Day in the Life of a Revenue Insights Analyst

  • Data Compilation & Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze GTM data from various sources, including CRM, marketing automation platforms, sales tools, and partner portals.
  • Performance Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide a holistic view of GTM performance across all stages of the revenue funnel.
  • Marketing Effectiveness: Analyze marketing campaign performance, lead generation channels, and content effectiveness to identify areas for optimization and ROI improvement.
  • Sales & Pipeline Metrics: Monitor and report on key sales metrics, including pipeline health, conversion rates, sales cycle length, and win rates, to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for acceleration.
  • BDR Efficiency: Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of our Business Development Representative (BDR) team, providing insights into lead qualification, outreach strategies, and handoff processes.
  • Partner Performance: Track and analyze the performance of our partner ecosystem, identifying positive or negative trends and recommending strategies to maximize partner contributions.
  • Trend Identification: Proactively identify significant positive or negative trends across all GTM functions and provide recommendations for strategic adjustments.
  • AdHoc Analysis: Conduct deepdive analyses on specific GTM challenges or opportunities as needed, presenting findings and actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Partner closely with leaders across Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, and Product to ensure datadriven decisionmaking and alignment on GTM strategies.
  • Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and Market Segmentation Analysis: Continuously refine and analyze our ICPs and market segments using data to ensure our GTM efforts are targeting the most profitable customer groups. This includes assessing demographic, behavioral, and psychographic data.
  • Customer Journey Mapping & Optimization: Analyze data across the entire customer lifecycle to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement in the customer journey, from initial touchpoint to postsale retention.
  • Attribution Modeling: Develop and implement advanced attribution models to accurately measure the impact of various marketing channels and sales activities on revenue, providing a clearer understanding of ROI.
  • Predictive Analytics & Forecasting: Utilize historical data and emerging trends to develop more accurate revenue forecasts, identify potential risks, and highlight future growth opportunities. This may involve leveraging AIML insights.
  • Sales Enablement Effectiveness: Measure the impact of sales enablement initiatives (e.g., content, training, tools) on sales performance and efficiency, providing databacked recommendations for optimization.
  • Pricing and Packaging Insights: Analyze data related to pricing, packaging, and product adoption to identify opportunities for optimizing revenue and ensuring competitive positioning.
  • AB Testing and Experimentation Support: Provide analytical support for AB testing and other GTM experiments, helping to design tests, analyze results, and derive actionable insights.
    • What You’ll Need:

      • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
      • 5+ years of experience in a revenue operations, sales operations, marketing operations, or business intelligence role, with a focus on GTM analysis.
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
      • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
      • Advanced Excel skills are a must; experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is highly desirable.
      • Solid understanding of GTM processes, including leadtoopportunity, sales pipeline stages, and marketing funnel mechanics.
      • Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for various audiences.
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
      • Proactive and curious mindset, always looking for ways to improve performance and uncover new opportunities.
