About the Role

We are seeking experienced Agile Coaches and Consultants to support the introduction, stabilization, and enablement of agile practices across teams and departments within a central banking institution. The role focuses on consulting, coaching, and training at multiple organizational levelsfrom teams transitioning to agile ways of working, to established agile teams, to leadership coaching.

The position is embedded within the broader agile transformation framework (Nordstern), led by an internal agile enablement team, and requires alignment with institutional standards and agile frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Agile Enablement & Coaching

  • Provide hands-on coaching and training to agile teams (Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Agile Teams)
  • Deliver 1:1 and team-based coaching, blending theory (agile frameworks, transformation, tools) and on-the-job sparring
  • Act as Agile Coach or temporary Scrum Master in operational teams where needed
  • Support leadership, project managers, product owners in understanding and executing their roles in agile contexts
  • Supervise agile teams and promote continuous improvement and learning culture

🔹 Workshop Design & Facilitation

  • Design and facilitate introductory and awareness sessions on agile topics (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Design Thinking, etc.)
  • Conduct team workshops for implementing or deepening agile methods and practices
  • Facilitate simulation-based practice workshops and case study sessions
  • Formats may vary:
    • Small to large teams from different departments or levels
    • Remote, hybrid, or in-person delivery
    • Duration: Half-day to multi-part series

🔹 Strategic Agile Transformation Support

  • Support the implementation of a bank-wide agile learning and feedback culture
  • Guide the adoption of agile governance and method alignment with internal policies and cultural realities
  • Provide recommendations for customized agile solutions (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, hybrid frameworks) adapted to specific team contexts
  • Assist in evaluating team requirements for method selection (e.g., part-time vs. full-focus teams)
  • Design and conduct retrospectives at both team and project level
  • Promote self-organization and participative decision-making processes

Target Groups

  • Fully agile teams and projects needing continuous or ad-hoc support
  • Teams transitioning from classical to agile working models
  • Organizational units exploring agile experience (short-term agile immersion pilots)
  • Line departments and projects requiring coaching support
  • Managers, product owners, and project leads navigating agile roles

Ideal Profile

  • Proven experience as Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or Agile Transformation Consultant
  • Strong command of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, Lean, Design Thinking)
  • Facilitation experience with creative and collaborative methods (Lego Serious Play, Visual Facilitation, Innovation Digging, etc.)
  • Background in regulated or public sector environments a plus
  • Ability to work with both operational teams and leadership stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills
