Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Information Security Analyst III for a 5+ month contract to hire role with our client in the healthcare industry in Eagan, MN. This role is 100% remote.

Summary:
The main function of a Information Security Analyst is to review evidence and verify that controls are designed and operating effectively and comply with security requirements to HITRUST, SOC 1\\2 and NIST 80053.

A typical Information Security Analyst is responsible for working with IT and auditors to develop and validate audit scope, action plans and remediation.

Job Responsibilities:

Identify security issues and root cause to recommend mitigation plans.

Develop and interpret security policies and procedures.

Participate in security compliance efforts.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field such as auditing.

2 years of experience in Information Security, Information Technology, Risk Management, Audit or Finance. Basic understanding of regulatory requirements and security and frameworks (PCI, HIPAA, SOC1, SOC2, HITRUST, NIST, etc.).

Basic working knowledge of security solutions and controls

Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay: $45.00 to $50.00hour

We have access to additional contract, contracttohire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
