We are seeking a Fullstack Engineer for our Product Engineering Team.
What youll do:
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve features across Fullscript’s platform
Build and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications using Ruby and JavaScript (React), with an emphasis on reliability, testability, and maintainability
Design and develop RESTful APIs, including thirdparty integrations and internal services, with a focus on longterm health and clarity
Ensure API design aligns with best practices for uptime, reliability, and contract testing
Take full ownership of features, from architecture to rollout, and support them in production
Lead or contribute to the scoping and planning of technical projects, collaborating across teams to deliver solid, maintainable solutions
Review pull requests and provide mentorship and feedback that improves the quality and cohesion of the codebase
Influence highlevel architecture and technical direction, driving forward larger team initiatives
Contribute to team culture through collaboration, discussion, and sharing knowledge
What you bring to the table:
You are a passionate engineer who takes pride in writing clean, maintainable code and enjoys solving meaningful problems
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and lifecycle management, including reliability, automated testing, and longterm maintenance
Proficiency in Ruby (or strong experience in a similar language with the willingness to ramp up quickly in Rubybased systems)
Experience building web applications using JavaScript and frameworks like React, Vue, or similar
You write tests and value their role in maintaining quality and confidence during iteration
You have good software engineering fundamentals and can contribute to technical design conversations
Collaborative mindset, you thrive in team settings and can communicate your ideas clearly
You actively seek feedback and enjoy growing through mentorship and new challenges
Bonus:
Experience with FHIR, HL7, or other healthcare data formats
Exposure to regulated or missioncritical environments, especially in healthcare or finance
