Project location: Essen Munich (Mainly Remote Work Options, Onsite Presence Required 5% of the Time)

Project: The Horizon team is responsible for all changes in the ETRM Allegro system, whether they are small items or big features, as well as handling L3 incidents.

The key responsibilities of the Horizon team are:
• Incident Management: Handling L3 incidents and requests related to the systems they support.
• ETRM Allegro System: Managing all changes and updates to the ETRM Allegro system, which includes both small items and big features. The team oversees the implementation of various modules and functionalities within the Allegro system.

Job Description:
The PTT (Portfolio & Trade lifecycle Technologies) team is looking for a talented and experienced HorizonAllegro Developer as external consultant at EON Energy Markets GmbH. As an Allegro Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and support of the Allegro Horizon platform used for energy trading and risk management. You will work closely with traders, risk analysts, and IT teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions that support fronttoback trading operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain custom extensions and configurations within the HorizonAllegro platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications for energy trading and risk management (ETRM).
• Develop and deploy microservices using .NET Core and containerization best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize cloudbased applications for performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices for cloud security and DevOps.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Consult the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, scheduling, risk reporting, and settlements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Allegro functionality, performance, and integration.
• Create and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting solutions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and documentation standards.

Competences:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ experience with .NET (C#, .NET Core), as plus development experience with HorizonAllegro ETRM software or any other ETRM software
• Proficiency with Azure, App Services and other cloudnative components.
• Familiarity with CICD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in Microsoft TSQL andor Oracle PLSQL.
• Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS or Crystal Reports.
• Familiarity with source control tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, TFS).
• Strong analytical, problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of the energy trading lifecycle (physical and financial products).
• Familiarity with integration tools and APIs used in ETRM systems.
