Job description

Ecommerce Manager

Job type: PartTime

Shift Schedule: MondayFriday, 9:00am 1:30pm, PST (22 hrsweek)

We’re looking for a sharp, detailobsessed, and digitally savvy Ecommerce Manager to lead the daytoday operations and performance optimization of our Shopify website. You’ll be our goto expert across sales, promotions, content updates, product merchandising, email and SMS campaigns (via Klaviyo), and site analytics. You’ll also be our internal liaison with our offshore dev team, making sure bugs are squashed fast and the customer journey is always smooth.

What You’ll Do:

• Website & Product Merchandising (Shopify):

• Manage and optimize all PDPs (Product Display Pages), ensuring accurate content, strong SEO, and conversionforward design • Oversee homepage, navigation, and seasonal merchandising updates

• Plan and execute product launches and sales promotions

• Monitor site daily to ensure uptime, product availability, and bugfree performance

Content & Blog:

• Update and publish blog content regularly (provided by foundereditorial team) Collaborate on ideas to tie site content to brand campaigns and seasonal storytelling

Analytics & Optimization:

• Monitor Shopify, Klaviyo, and Google Analytics performance metrics

• Track and report on site health, AOV, conversion rates, and bounce rates

• Make actionable recommendations to improve performance and CX

• Email & SMS Marketing (Klaviyo):

• Manage and grow revenue through email and SMS marketing

• Build, optimize, and test flows for welcome, postpurchase, abandoned cart, and win back

• Own the calendar for regular campaign sends, working with our founder and creative team to execute beautifully branded, highperforming emails

Team Liaison:

• Communicate clearly with our offshore dev team to troubleshoot bugs and implement technical updates

• Act as point person for all ecommerce ops questions within the broader Utu team

Requirements

•3+ years managing DTC ecommerce, preferably in beautywellnesslifestyle brands

• Deep experience with Shopify and Klaviyo (email and SMS)

• Confident with GA, analytics tools, heatmaps, and data interpretation

• Strong eye for detail and UX

• Excellent copy, communication, and project management skills

• Comfortable working independently in a remote role, but collaborative in spirit

Bonus Points If You:

• Have experience with subscription and bundling logic

• Know basic LiquidCSS for Shopify tweaks

• Have a love for the outdoors, skincare, or wellness
