As an Accounting Advisory Director at Riveron, you will be aligned to our Workiva practice, playing a pivotal leadership role, orchestrating the delivery of toptier advisory services to our clients. This position will place you at the forefront of our client engagement teams, where you will leverage your extensive experience and deep understanding of financial reporting to guide and direct project execution. You will work closely with partners and senior leadership to develop strategies for client service excellence, ensuring that our solutions are not only compliant but also strategically aligned with our clients business objectives.

The ideal candidate will bring a strategic perspective to the flow of data throughout the financial reporting process, ensuring regulatory compliance, and acting as a trusted advisor to our clients and a role model to our team

Who You Are:
  • Bachelors andor Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA Certification highly preferred
  • Workiva Delivery Certification highly preferred
  • Experience managing Workiva implementations and optimizations within the Financial Reporting solution in a consulting position in partnership with Workiva
  • 10+ years of experience in financial reporting, including SEC reporting and statutory reporting, with a proven track record of leadership and project management in these areas
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead complex engagements, providing strategic oversight and ensuring excellence in delivery
  • Extensive experience in mentoring and developing teams, with a strong commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Indepth knowledge of financial reporting, crafting customized solutions for our clients that meet all regulatory requirements
  • Skilled in navigating and managing client relationships, building trust, and establishing credibility as a strategic advisor
  • A visionary leader with a passion for driving the growth and development of the Workiva practice, contributing to thought leadership, and enhancing methodologies and service offerings

  • What Youll Do:
  • Lead Workiva implementation projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and execute strategic engagement plans, directing the assessment of current reporting environment, and advising on best practices for streamlining and automating the reporting process
  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients at the executive level, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables
  • Drive the growth and development of the Workiva practice, identifying opportunities for expansion, and enhancing our methodologies and service offerings to maintain and enhance our market leadership
  • Mentor and develop the advisory team, encouraging professional growth, technical excellence, and a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Lead by example, setting high standards for integrity, professionalism, and client service, and fostering an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and excellence in every aspect of our practice.
