Job description

Ryz Labs is looking for a skilled Senior Scala or Kotlin Backend Engineer to join a dynamic technology team in the financial industry. This role involves designing and implementing serverside applications that handle complex data and integrate with various systems. You will be working closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality software that enhances our ability to provide exceptional financial services.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in backend development with Scala or Kotlin.
Experience with functional programming and design patterns.
Familiarity with frameworks and libraries such as Akka, Play, or Spring Boot.
Strong understanding of database management and performant SQL.
Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and integrating with external APIs.
Solid understanding of software engineering practices and agile methodologies.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
