The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading an engineering team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, maintaining high development standards, and fostering a collaborative and growthoriented environment. This role involves both people management and technical leadership to drive performance and alignment with business goals.

About your key responsibilities and impact:
  • Leading, managing, and growing a team of engineers through mentorship, feedback, and performance reviews;
  • Defining project goals, scope, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders;
  • Ensuring high quality of deliverables through best practices, code reviews, and testing standards;
  • Promoting and implementing Agile methodologies and a continuous improvement culture;
  • Reviewing and approving technical designs, ensuring scalability and maintainability;
  • Monitoring team progress, reporting on key metrics, and removing blockers;
  • Fostering crossfunctional collaboration with Product, QA, DevOps, and other teams;
  • Allocating resources efficiently and managing workloads within the team;
  • Supporting knowledge sharing, documentation, and technical growth initiatives;
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and psychologically safe working environment.
    • Essential professional experience:
      • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in a leadership role;
      • Strong people management skills, including performance evaluation and mentoring;
      • Proven experience in successful project delivery and technical decisionmaking;
      • Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile practices, and software architecture principles;
      • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to delivery timelines;
      • Experience implementing engineering KPIs, quality standards, and process improvements;
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English – UpperIntermediate+);
      • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and manage stakeholders;
      • Commitment to fostering team development, inclusion, and psychological safety;
      • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
        • Would Be a Plus:
          • Experience working with realtime and batch data processing frameworks (e.g., Kafka, AWS Kinesis, RabbitMQ, Redpanda, Spark, Flink, or similar);
          • Familiarity with data visualization and analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView, Metabase, Apache Superset);
          • Understanding of data platform architecture in highload, eventdriven environments;
          • Experience managing data infrastructure in cloudbased ecosystems (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure);
          • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance practices, especially in regulated industries;
          • Exposure to B2B SaaS or platform business models, ideally within the iGaming, fintech, or online entertainment sectors;
          • Understanding of BI reporting layers and data modeling techniques;
          • Handson experience with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MongoDB, Redshift, BigQuery);
          • Proven track record of improving engineering team efficiency and platform scalability through automation, observability, and infrastructure improvements;
          • Familiarity with key metrics relevant to iGaming platforms (e.g., GGR, NGR, player retention, latencysensitive events).
