About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to support secure remote access systems as part of a secondlevel support team. The focus of this role is handson resolution of incidents via remote maintenance, primarily involving VPN solutions and secure hardware such as the genua genucard. The position is part of a broader IT infrastructure support unit and operates in a distributed team across multiple German locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently handle secondlevel support tickets and incidents via remote access
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to remote access services in internal and external environments
• Plan, assess, and execute IT service changes in line with service standards
• Participate in testing and quality assurance processes in the role of a system tester
• Install and configure remote access solutions (RAS) in accordance with applicable IT security policies
• Maintain and improve technical documentation for operational consistency

  Professional Experience (Minimum Requirements)

  • 3+ years in service operations (administering ITcommunication services under quality, stability, and costeffectiveness standards)
  • 3+ years of experience in 2nd Level Incident Management
  • 2+ years in operating, administrating, or troubleshooting VPN solutions (e.g., genua genucard)
  • 2+ years of administrative experience in Windows OS environments
