Overview

Are you a legally skilled, techsavvy, client obsessed Paralegal who wants to join a collaborative, fast paced and exciting team? Are you looking for something unlike any traditional firm you’ve worked for in the past? Do you want to rewrite what it means to be a paralegal in the age of new technology? Then you’re in the right place!

We’re looking for a compassionate, detailoriented, and techsavvy ClientFacing Paralegal to join our remote team. In this role, you’ll be a critical piece of the client journey, supporting clients navigating complex family law cases providing clear communication, drafting key documents, and collaborating closely with attorneys to keep cases moving forward. You’ll own client interactions, resolve escalations with empathy, and play a critical role in delivering a bestinclass legal experience.


What youll do:

  • Conduct regular case reviews with attorneys to ensure cases are progressing and deadlines are met
  • Communicate with clients and our cocounsels consistently to provide updates, gather information, and offer clarity and support throughout their legal journey. You are the client’s #1 advocate and cheerleader through their process!
  • Draft basic legal documents
  • Update internal systems to reflect realtime case status, and ensure clients are kept informed throughout each stage. The goal is to be always a step ahead vs waiting for the client to let us know when there are issues!
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to move client cases forward and keep clients in the loop throughout
  • Own escalated client questions or sensitive situations, using sound judgment, empathy, and clear communication to drive resolution
  • Help identify opportunities to improve internal processes and the overall client experience
  • Be an engaged, proactive member of a supportive and crossfunctional team

    • Who You Are

      • Certified Paralegal in California
      • Clientobsessed and always trying to stay one step ahead – you’re energized by supporting people, proactively solving problems, and delivering a smooth and empathetic experience
      • Skilled at translating legal concepts into clientfriendly language and guiding clients through complex, emotional situations with compassion and clarity
      • Techsavvy, you are hungry to optimize and reinvent the paralegal role! You are also comfortable with using legal tools, G Suite, MS Word, Slack, Salesforce, Clio (or other drafting software) and picking up new platforms quickly
      • A strong team player who collaborates well with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clients feel supported and cases move forward efficiently
      • Confident drafting basic legal documents
      • Adaptable and motivated by change—you thrive in fastpaced environments
      • At least 2 years of paralegal experience in California Family Law preferred
      • Excellent communicator with sharp writing skills and a strong eye for detail
      • Organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently
      • Bonus points if youre bilingual (EnglishSpanish) or hold a Legal Document Preparer Certificate
      • Remoteready with experience or enthusiasm for working in startup environments
