The VP of Marketing is a senior executive responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of all enterprise, business to business marketing functions. This role plays a critical part in shaping brand identity, driving marketing operations, increasing our presence in a fastgrowing market, and leading initiatives that drive significant sales growth trajectory.
Design and lead longterm enterprise marketing strategies that support the companys mission and revenue goals.
Direct all facets of the B2B marketing function including demand generation, product marketing, client communications, Sales Development Representatives, and brand positioning.
Collaborate with executive leadership on corporate strategy and positioning. Collaborate cross functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Strategy, Growth Marketing and others to deliver a coordinated, high impact market message.
Own market segmentation, customer lifecycle strategy, and gotomarket planning.
Lead the development of innovative marketing programs that elevate the brand and create significant increase in incoming, qualified leads.
Lead and scale a diverse, growing, highimpact global marketing organization.
Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:
Create and collaborate on a clear vision for 2026+ market differentiation positioning.
Deliver a 2026 strategy plan to drive improved lead generation and win rates.
Solidify a team of high performers to expand Virta’s market presence.
Create martech stack plan for 2026 and beyond that includes AIsupported scale and efficiency
Support details and planning for a significant market and lead generation event Moonshots that we hold in January each year.
15+ years of progressive marketing experience with at least 7 years in executive roles.
Experience in health technology or an innovative market space appreciated
Proven track record in managing and getting high productivity from multifunctional marketing teams.
Deep expertise in unique brand creationarticulation, digital, growth, product, and customer marketing.
Strong understanding of market trends, data analytics, and customer insights that can deliver clear ROI tracking for marketing investments and quickly pivot as needed.
Track record of embracing and successfully leveraging innovation technologies (especially AI) to improve effectiveness and efficiency in marketing efforts.
Creative, innovative thinking to breakthrough the noise of a hectic marketplace.
Budget ownership experience.
Experience in both public and private companies is preferred.

Virta has a location based compensation structure. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
