Qualifications:

Experience with passive fire protection systems and products such as Rockwool, Nullifire, FireFly, and Quelfire., Knowledge of British and European Standards related to fire stopping, including BS EN 1366-3:2009, BS EN 1366-4:2006, and EN 13501-2:2007 A1:2009., Ability to survey and identify compartment breaches in domestic and commercial premises., Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team..

Key responsibilities:

  • Survey premises to identify fire compartment breaches using plans and fire strategy drawings.
  • Support the fire stopping team in installation, quoting, and project delivery to meet customer expectations.
  • Attend meetings with clients onsite and via Teams to discuss project progress and requirements.
  • Manage stock control, material ordering, and maintain safety and quality standards.

Job description

Fire Stopper Engineer London & Surrounding Regions

FAFS Fire & Security specialises in designing, installing, commissioning and servicing automatic Fire Detection, Protection and Alarm Systems in and around Greater London.

We are currently looking for a passive fire specialist to take on an exciting role within the department. You will be joining the firestopping section of our passive fire department. You will be supporting the department manager in surveying, quoting, and installation of fire stopping products across our existing client base in and around London and the South East.

Basic Salary – Up to £45,000 per annum subject to experience
