The Impact of a Senior Solutions Consultant at Coupa:

The Senior Solutions Consultant is a lead functional business partner of Sales Managers. The Senior Solutions Consultant supports Coupa’s business and revenue goals by providing highquality business and functional presentations and demonstrations. They will also work across Coupa’s operations to drive the creation and maintenance of fieldrelated material to be used in the sales process to use technology as a differentiator for Coupa in the market.

What Youll Do:
  • Providing technical and functional expertise during the sales process.
  • Demonstrate how Coupa can meet and exceed the business need of our prospects with clear focus on measurable value.
  • Provide strong technical understanding of our products with the ability to discuss and demonstrate architecture and integration.
  • Platform Demonstrations, RFP assistance, IT Workshops, Training, Presentations, and Document Creation.
  • Subject matter expert that can provide valuable sales insights to their salespeople and prospects.
  • Managing accounts where 5075% of your time may include travel.


  • What You Will Bring to Coupa:
  • 5+ years experience in systems applications selling or implementation
  • SourcetoPay or eProcurement experience is desired; Expense Management experience is a plus
  • Experience with Software as a Service is a plus as is any experience with financial accounting, customer management, and sales force automation software
  • Previous solution consulting experience with the following applications is a solid predictor of success: Ariba, Ivalua, Concur, NetSuite, Great Plains, Oracle, SAP
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience configuring and delivering software demonstrations
  • Deliver highquality and compelling presentations and demonstrations focused on customer requirements to key decision makers and influencers.
  • Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of at least one area of spend management.
  • Handson experience with application configuration or customization. Effectively communicate through oral and written communications to both technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to lead discovery sessions with prospects to map customer requirements to application functionality.
  • Track record of sharing and publishing knowledge andor mentoring peers.

  • The estimated pay range for this role is $135,000 165,000 + eligibility for commission with an estimated pay mix of 7030

    The starting salary for the successful candidate will be based on permissible, nondiscriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
