The Role:
We’re looking for a Contract Management Associate with Japanese to join us in our APAC based team. As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for supporting our clients business by drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts as part of a wider general support service to the client’s contracts management and inhouse legal teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for drafting and negotiating a wide range of Commercial Contracts in Japanese and English.
  • Working closely with our Client’s inhouse legal departments on a range of matters such as international deals, bids, procurement, marketing, professional services, media, technology or consumer matters
  • Be part of a team committed to the overall delivery of services and compliance with all delivery commitments to the client
  • Active caseload management
  • Adhere to all Factor delivery processes and commitments;
  • Input and manage data on Factor and client systems and keep them up to date;
  • Help develop contract templates, playbooks and other tools for use by the team;
  • Be part of a team committed to continually improving our service to the client and adding value.

  • In addition to the above, here are the required skills, knowledge, capabilities, and education for this role:
  • Law Degree andor Legally Qualified;
  • Minimum of 2 years experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts within a law firm, an ALSP, or as part of an inhouse legal team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; Japanese and English.
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Regular clientfacing experience;
  • Good commercial awareness, working directly with business managers;
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite especially Microsoft Word;
  • Organizational fit for the Factor culture exhibiting the core values of Authenticity, Accountability, Adaptability and Stewardship;
  • Experience of working with or for a telecommunications, financial services or professional services firm preferably in a contracting function;
  • Experience of working inhouse

    As a member of an ISO Compliant center, the candidate will be required to follow the policies and procedures on Information Security Management System in place at the Center of Excellence and globally at Factor.
