Position Summary

Sonic Clinical Trials USA is seeking a resultsdriven Business Development Sales Manager to expand market share and cultivate longterm client relationships in central laboratory services. This fixedterm role (6 months, with potential for extension) oversees all aspects of account management, including quoting, invoicing, reporting, and marketing, while actively engaging with industry stakeholders to elevate brand visibility and service adoption. The position contributes directly to revenue growth and profitability through strategic partnership and operational excellence.

Contract: Fixed Term 6 Months, with possibility of extension

Hours: Full Time (40 hoursweek)

Location: Remote US

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth and market expansion by implementing targeted sales strategies in the central laboratory services sector.
  • Cultivate relationships with pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, CROs, and other key stakeholders to generate new business and maintain client loyalty.
  • Lead proposals, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations to secure service agreements that align with customer needs and business goals.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with internal teams (e.g., operations, project management, quality assurance) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive activity to inform business strategy and maintain industry relevance.
  • Represent the company at key industry events and conferences to elevate brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Support development of marketing collateral and digital campaigns to promote offerings and drive engagement.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and maintain accurate client databases to support service continuity.
  • Contribute to reporting and forecasting efforts that guide senior leadership on pipeline performance and revenue outlook.
  • Must be available for meetings with the global sales team between 4 PM and 8 PM CST.
    • Skills Techniques Required:

      • Strong entrepreneurial skills and a natural ability to identify opportunities for revenue generation.
      • Relevant industry experience and in depth knowledge of the USA clinical trials market.
      • Experience in a sales, project management or other relevant role in a CRO or health management organization
      • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and developing longterm client relationships
      • Outstanding presentation, negotiation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
      • Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office applications, clinical trial management databases and ability to learn new systems.
      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced, competitive environment
      • Sales negotiation methodology qualifications. Membership of relevant industry bodies
        • Qualifications:
