At least 3 years of experience in high-growth environments, preferably in developer tooling, open source, or PaaS/IaaS., Proven success in outbound sales, including cold calling and proactive pipeline development., Ability to articulate technical solutions and business value to technical audiences and decision-makers., Experience selling complex technical solutions to enterprise customers..

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive sales activities across the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Build and develop sales pipeline through outreach and relationship building.
  • Engage with developers and technical teams to understand their needs and present solutions.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies using a land and expand approach.

About this role

As an Account Executive, you’ll play a key role in Ably’s commercial growth. You’ll be responsible for building revenue by driving sales activities, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. You will be an important voice in defining the wider gotomarket strategy as it continuously evolves. If you’re excited by outbound sales, comfortable with cold outreach, and motivated by building pipeline from scratch, we’d love to hear from you.

Your ability to connect and engage with technical audiences (developers, architects and engineering leaders) and articulate business value to decisionmakers will be critical to your success. Previous experience with developerled sales is strongly preferred.
