Remote Optometrist (VEH OD)

MyEyeDr. is seeking a fulltime, remote Optometrist (OD) to join our team!

MyEyeDr. is seeking a Doctor of Optometry for our teleoptometric program. Utilizing stateoftheart technology, you will deliver live vision care and ocular services remotely with the support of an inoffice technician and team.

We are currently seeking Optometrists licensed in Pennsylvania plus 3 of the following licenses: MI, FL, AR, AL, MD

A typical day includes:

• Providing high quality optometric care and services to patients.
• Establishing a positive DoctorPatient relationship remotely.
• Conducting all services in accordance with clinical protocols and accepted standards of care.
• Ensuring all patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
• Utilizing all available technology to deliver highquality patient care.
• Ensuring that quality of care and systems are maintained.
• Being remote requires some technical proficiencies including basic computer troubleshooting, familiarity with MS Windows 10 or higher, and proficiency at using an electronic medical record system.

  • Optometrist (OD) Education and Experience Requirements
    • 3 years of postgraduate clinical experience.
    • 612 months previous experience with telemedicine delivery service preferred.
    • Doctor of Optometry Degree from an accredited institution required.
    • License in good standing in Optometry in Pennsylvania plus 3 of the following licenses: MI, FL, AR, AL, MD
