Job Overview:

As a Senior SDET, you will lead the offshore automation team in the development of automation for API, Web, and Mobile. You will leverage your expertise of test automation to help ensure efficiency, robustness, and accuracy of the automation suites. The ideal candidate is a skilled, solutionoriented team player with strong communication skills, capable of collaborating across multiple teams to drive project success. You’ll collaborate closely with the offshore automation team, QA manager, and members of the QA team to drive test automation efforts. Your skills and technical expertise will be crucial in maintaining the quality of our products and helping the QA team to shift left.

Responsibilities:

Architect, design, and implement highly stable and scalable automation testing solutions

Define and implement best practices and quality standards for test automation

Oversee maintenance efforts on automation tests

Develop and maintain automation for regression, functional, and API testing

Promote a culture of quality across the organization and throughout the entire SDLC

Troubleshoot and resolve failing or flaky tests

Evaluate and recommend new Automation techniques to enhance our data creation for automation tests

Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards in all automation efforts.

Provide regular updates on automation status to stakeholders

Qualifications

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 of those in test automation Experience with web or API automation

Proficiency in Playwright and Typescript

Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects with minimal supervision Excellent problemsolving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CICD pipelines (ex. GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)

Preferably experience working with offshore teams
