Overview & Responsibilities

Purpose of the Job

This role supports the Regional Sales Department in delivering various salesrelated activities for Steam Turbines and Centrifugal Compressors (turbomachinery and rotating equipment), primarily within the servicing and overhaul business.

The Sales Associate will assist in preparing proposals, managing documentation, and creating customerfocused presentations. This position offers a development path toward becoming a future Sales Engineer with a deep understanding of Ebara Elliott Energy’s service operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Global Service Sales Engineers in identifying and qualifying new sales leads.

  • Conduct business development activities using a variety of tools and strategies to identify prospects.

  • Maintain and update customer data accurately within the CRM system.

  • Support the preparation of sales proposals and customer presentations.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop promotional materials and technical content.

  • Provide input on service and product improvements.

  • Deliver timely updates and reports on customer engagement and sales progress.

  • Follow a personal development plan in coordination with the Senior Sales Manager.

    • Internal Stakeholders:

      • Sales Engineers, Regional Sales Managers, Customer Inventory Engineers

      • Crossfunctional teams including Field Service, Service Parts, Repairs, and Corporate Communications

        • External Stakeholders:

          • Customers and Vendors

            • This is an individual contributor position with no direct supervisory responsibilities. It is, however, designed to build future talent for technical sales leadership within the organization.

              Qualifications & Experience

              • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.

              • Strong technical interest or background, ideally in turbomachinery, rotating equipment, or aftermarket industrial services.

              • Selfmotivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.

              • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

              • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create persuasive presentations.

              • Familiarity with CRM tools is advantageous.

                  This is a full time permanent hybrid position in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
