Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled RPG Engineer to join our dynamic development team. This is a fulltime remote opportunity open to candidates based in Latin America. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of RPG IV, ILE, and Freeform RPG, and be passionate about building and maintaining robust applications on the IBM i (AS400) platform.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications using RPG IV, ILE RPG, and Freeform RPG.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing RPG applications.

Collaborate with business analysts and crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality software.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes.

Document technical specifications, code, and system processes.

Requirements

Proven experience as an RPG Developer or Engineer.

Strong proficiency in RPG IV, ILE RPG, and Freeform RPG.

Experience with DB2400, SQL, and other IBM i native databases.

Familiarity with modern development tools and methodologies on the IBM i platform.

Excellent problemsolving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.

Advanced English proficiency is required for communication and documentation.

The candidate must be based in LATAM.
