Job description

What is your role? 

As a UI Artist for Eleventh Hour Games,  you will be responsible for working closely with the game development and game design teams to craft high quality, user-friendly interfaces that convey system-heavy information in an easy-to-understand format. This position will require someone that has a deep understanding of ARPGs, specifically adapting to Last Epoch, and understands the complexities of developing UI related to complex character building and game systems. This role is ideal for someone who craves ownership, and has strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and has a passion for collaborative teams and UI art in games. 


Qualifications 

  • 4+ years of UI design experience, preferably in a studio environment
  • Extensive experience with ARPGs, ideally in a professional environment
  • Professional mastery of Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience with Figma and design systems
  • Ability to improve the player experience through creative and effective UI art
  • Excellent presentation and conceptual skills to clearly communicate your vision and ideas to the team

Pluses

  • Ability to implement, animate, and maintain intuitive and UX friendly UI screens using Unity
  • Experience using 3D in the UI art pipleline (Maya and/or Zbrush, or Blender preferred)
  • Experience working on full cycle title release 



Key Responsibilities

  • Create game interface and navigational elements that immerse the player in the game’s world while providing clear information and direction
  • Work with the design teams to lead interface layout, design and creation that aligns with goals of new systems
  • Work with the design team to ensure the UI utilizes best practices and helps players easily understand Last Epoch's systems
  • Create mockups that visually communicate game features
