Job Description:
The Financial Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of financial systems across the healthcare organization. This role serves as a strategic liaison between Finance, IT, and operational departments to ensure that financial technology solutions align with operational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The position plays a critical role in supporting decision-making, enhancing data integrity, and improving financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads the planning, development, and implementation of financial systems in Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management and Information Technology teams
  • Acts as system administrator for core financial platforms, ensuring accurate configuration, user access, data integrity, and compliance with internal controls
  • Identifies, evaluates, and recommends system enhancements and integrations to improve efficiency and support evolving organizational needs
  • Leads & coordinates projects related to financial system upgrades including releases & testing, data migrations, new module deployments, and process automation initiatives
  • Oversees staff training, documentation, and end-user support related to financial systems
  • Monitors financial system performance, troubleshoots issues, and works with vendors or Information Technology teams to resolve technical problems promptly
  • Analyzes and streamlines financial data flows to support timely, accurate, and actionable reporting and analytics
  • Supervises and mentors a team of financial systems analysts

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Required Qualifications:

  • Five years of progressive experience in financial systems management
  • Experience with major ERP platforms and healthcare financial systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare financial operations and internal controls
  • Excellent project management, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
