Summary of Job Duties:
The Custodian I is responsible for general cleaning of areas in and around office buildings, classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, auditoriums, building common areas, and other areas on campus as required. This will include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, and emptying small office trash cans as well as large Brute trash cans. This position will also be responsible for using a carpet extractor and a floor buffer, cleaning commodes, sinks, water fountains, etc. This position will also be responsible for snowice removal during winter months. Other duties as assigned.

Regular, reliable, and nondisruptive attendance is an essential job function of this job, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
