Stand Together Foundation is building a new approach to partnership coaching — one that empowers nonprofit leaders to thrive, adapt, and lead transformation in their communities. As Director of Leadership Coaching, you will serve a dual role: part executivelevel coach, part capability builder. Youll build and lead a team of coaches, guide the evolution of our partnership strategy, and work directly with nonprofit leaders and organizations to unlock their growth and impact.
In this role, you’ll build systems that help our coaches thrive, deploy our talent toward highleverage partnership opportunities, and codesign solutions that serve both individual organizations and Stand Together Foundation’s strategy. You’ll also play a critical role in collaborating with the Foundation’s Learning and Investment teams to ensure we deliver the right support to the right partner at the right time.

How You Will Contribute
  • Lead the Coaching Capability
  • Set the vision and direction for Stand Together Foundation’s leadership coaching capability.
  • Build and lead a highperforming team of coaches with clarity, care, and high trust with our partners.
  • Create learning, onboarding, and feedback systems to continually grow the team’s effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and principled entrepreneurship within the team.

  • Coach and Guide Nonprofit Leaders
  • Serve as a lead coach for executive teams within highpotential Catalyst organizations.
  • Codesign individualized learning, partnership, and investment strategies aligned to each organization’s vision and readiness for impact growth.
  • Help leaders strengthen operations, define success, and scale impact — rooted in empowerment principles and connected to the Foundations strategies.

  • Deploy Coaching Strategically
  • Match coaches to organizations based on strategic alignment, coaching strengths, and relational fit.
  • Identify emerging needs and gaps across the portfolio and mobilize foundation teams to close those gaps.

  • CrossTeam Collaboration & Strategic Stewardship
  • Partner closely with the Learning Team to integrate Principle Based Managment, Customer First Measurement, Narrative, and other learning tools and resources into coaching efforts.
  • Serve as a trusted voice in evaluating partner progress and investment potential.
  • Actively participate in crossfunctional efforts to evolve Stand Together Foundations approach to leadership development, culture change, and organizational learning.

  • What You Will Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in organizational development, executive coaching, andor nonprofitphilanthropic leadership.
  • Experience managing or mentoring other coaches, consultants, or senior staff.
  • Deep belief in the power of bottomup leadership and principlebased change.
  • Familiarity with Principle Based Management, Customer First Measurement, andor other leadership development tools.
  • Exceptional communication, relational, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead others through change, complexity, and vision alignment.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the United States.
