We are seeking a multisolution Platform Architect with deep technical expertise in marketing technology platforms to join our growing Digital Experience Platforms practice as a Director of Marketing Technology.

While this role will engage with a variety of platforms, expertise in Adobe Workfront and Adobe Workfront Fusion is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of industry trends, business process automation best practices, and marketing technologies, coupled with a continuous drive to learn, evolve, and apply subject matter expertise to client engagements and sales opportunities.

The Director of Marketing Technology plays a key role in ensuring a smooth transition from presales to delivery, serving as a strategic advisor to both clients and platform partners. The primary focus is on optimizing customer experiences and marketing strategies through effective platform use. A solid understanding of broader marketing and data technologies is essential for designing scalable architectures and successful implementation strategies.

This role collaborates closely with client service and business development teams to uncover and grow account opportunities crafting solutions that maximize customer value through marketing technology platforms. As a trusted advisor, the Director helps clients extract longterm value from their platforms not only during implementation, but through ongoing optimization and support. Additionally, they ensure delivery teams are wellpositioned for success and provide oversight to meet client goals.

This highvisibility position also supports partnerships with Adobe and other platform providers, driving innovation, encouraging product adoption, achieving certifications, and contributing to product roadmap discussions.

Information Security Responsibilities
  • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
  • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

  • Serve as a platform expert with a focus on Adobe Workfront and Adobe Workfront Fusion
  • Maintain subject matter expertise as platforms and tools evolve
  • Stay on top of industry trends and ability and willingness to learn about and speak to a variety of platforms
  • Identify and build out packaged offerings andor accelerators to assist in sales and create more efficiencies leading to strong customer value realization andor optimizations
  • Collaborate with platform partners on product roadmap advisory, feature exploration and development, and integration solutions and approaches processes and increase efficiency
  • Analyze complex business processes to identify areas for improvement and design automated workflows, scripts, and processes to enhance system performance.
  • Develop and implement automation strategies for Workfront and Fusion platforms to streamline processes and increase efficiency
  • Partner with client service and business development to support pitches and followon client work
  • Strategize, architect, and create approaches for scalable, tailored platform implementations
  • Present and articulate subject matter expertise through compelling client presentations
  • Scope estimates and collaborate on multisolution and multiplatform solutioning and scoping
  • Lead customerfacing workshops, demos, and handson labs
  • Provide deep domain expertise in client business, technology stack, and data infrastructure, complemented by a wideranging knowledge base in digital marketing
  • Provide thought leadership in the marketing technology space and help Bounteous differentiate as the goto partner in this space
  • Develop deep knowledge of each clients business and available data to ensure platform solutioning is on par with clients marketing objectives
  • Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for platform configuration, data schemas and system integrations to deliver against business needs
  • Oversee and steer client programs and development work to meet client objectives
  • Provide support to development teams with solutioning

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience creating customer data and marketing technology solutions
  • 3+ years of experience at a digitalfirst, global delivery agencyconsultancy
  • Strong consultative and clientfacing skills
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience implementing solutions with Adobe Workfront and Adobe Workfront FusionWorking knowledge of the entire Adobe
  • Experience Platform range of products (RTCDP, CJA, AJO, Mix Modeler) and related platforms (such as Target) is a plusSelfdriven; the ability to work independently, define a way forward, and solve problems with limited direction; proven capacity to drive results in an evolving and complex organization
  • Strong communicator with all levels of leadership, management, and staff to achieve desired outcomes and build strong alliances and relationships
  • Outstanding executive presence, presentation, and negotiation skills; the ability to inspire, engage, partner with, and influence senior leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Digitallysavvy and wellinformed on innovations, trends, and technologies
  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or related field or equivalent work experience preferred
