Job description

About the Role

Were working with a rapidly growing renewable energy developer with a strong pipeline of utilityscale solar and energy storage projects across North America. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the execution of multiple projects from earlystage development through to commercial operation.

The ideal candidate will have handson experience in the construction and delivery of utilityscale renewable projects, and a solid understanding of working with EPC contractors, utilities, and project stakeholders. This role offers flexibility to work remotely, with occasional travel to project sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full project lifecycle including scope, safety, quality, schedule, budget, and stakeholder communication
  • Support the EPC selection process, contract execution (incl. exhibits), and contract management throughout construction
  • Coordinate and manage sitebased teams and external contractors
  • Liaise with utilities, engineers, and other third parties to ensure design reviews and interconnection progress
  • Oversee project invoicing, financial drawdowns, and reporting
  • Manage delivery and QAQC of ownersupplied equipment including FATs, logistics, and commissioning
  • Ensure regulatory and environmental compliance throughout execution
  • Facilitate project handover to O&MAsset Management teams postCOD
    • Requirements

      • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
      • 7+ years of project or construction management experience in the energy sector
      • Prior experience with developers, EPCs, or owners engineers strongly preferred
      • Able to travel regularly across the United States
      • Driving Licence
