Are you a resultsdriven sales professional with a passion for fintech and financial services? Retired.com is growing, and we’re looking for a Sales Account Executive to help drive revenue, build meaningful client relationships, and deliver solutions that support our mission to empower retirement investing.

As a Sales Account Executive, youll take charge of the entire sales cycle—from outreach to closing. You’ll connect with prospects and customers to introduce them to Retired.coms innovative selfdirected IRA platform. Your work will directly impact our growth, customer success, and ability to help people take control of their retirement investments.

Position Summary:
The Sales Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing deals. This role requires a high degree of collaboration across internal teams and a proactive approach to both prospecting and responding to inbound inquiries. The Sales Account Executive plays a key role in educating potential and existing customers on the value of Retired.com’s selfdirected IRA platform, identifying upsell opportunities, and maintaining accurate data to support sales operations and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct telesales and manage both inbound and outbound sales communications via phone and email.
  • Own and execute the full sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, solution presentation, negotiation, and close.
  • Achieve or exceed defined monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Build relationships with new prospects and develop upsell opportunities within existing customer accounts and affiliate partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering, Business Development, and Affiliate teams to enhance the overall customer journey and optimize lead conversion.
  • Educate prospects and customers on the features and benefits of the company’s selfdirected retirement account platform.
  • Ensure all sales activities and pipeline data are accurately maintained in the company’s CRM system (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Complete all required product and compliance trainings within designated timelines.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to improve product positioning and messaging.

  • What you Bring:
  • 2–5 years of experience in a sales role, ideally within fintech, financial services, or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Familiarity with retirement accounts, alternative investments, or the broader financial services landscape is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and virtual sales tools such as Zoom and email automation platforms.
  • This is a remote position. Work from anywhere in the U.S.
