As part of our mission to improve healthcare access for millions of Americans, you’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Revenue, and Finance to design and implement robust data exchange platform. This is a handson role with high visibility and impact.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with various internal and external teams to understand, implement, and manage the EDI processes critical to SafeRide’s healthcare data exchange workflows.
  • Develop and maintain robust EDI pipelines and validation workflows for encounters, eligibility, and claims data.
  • Ensure timely, compliant, and accurate EDI transactions with payers, providers, and clearinghouses.
    • Required Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
      • 3+ years of handson experience working with EDI X12 formats (e.g., 837, 835, 834, 999, 277), healthcare data standards, and transport protocols (SFTP, AS2, API).
      • 3+ years of experience with scripting or programming (Python preferred) for parsing, validation, or transformation of flat files and EDI documents.
      • 3+ years of data querying (SQL) and reporting experience (e.g. Tableau, QuickSight, etc.)
        • Preferred Qualifications:

          • Experience working with EDI integration platforms (e.g., AWS B2B EDI, Mirth Connect, Cleo, Boomi, or Talend).
          • Understanding of cloudbased architecture and services (especially AWS: Lambda, S3, Glue, Step Functions).
              • Exposure to HL7, FHIR, JSONXML transformations, or healthcare interoperability initiatives.
              • Knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, and other healthcare compliance and data governance initiatives.

                • Benefits:

                  • Competitive salary and annual bonus opportunities
                      • Remote with flexible hours
                          • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
                              • 401(k) with company match
                                  • Generous PTO, 10 paid company holidays, and paid parental leave
                                      • Career growth opportunities in a missiondriven organization
