Post-secondary education in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field., Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and implementing communication plans., Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, CMS systems, and email marketing tools like Campaign Monitor, Delivra, WordPress, and MailChimp., Knowledge of digital content standards, social media tools, and basic graphic and video editing skills..

Key responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and proofread digital content across various platforms.
  • Manage content production workflows and ensure quality assurance.
  • Monitor social media channels, engage with audiences, and support content strategies.
  • Track and analyze digital performance metrics to inform content improvements.

Location: Working remotely 4 days a week 1 day at 90 Eglinton Ave. E., Toronto, ON

Occasional travel to other YMCA Offices

Work Hours: MondayFriday 37.5 hoursweek

The Brand & Content Advisor plays a key role in shaping and delivering highquality, consistent digital communications across the organization. This role is responsible for creating, editing, and managing content across various platforms, ensuring alignment with the organization’s brand voice and accessibility standards. The Advisor provides guidance and support to Digital Production Team members, contributes to content strategy, and helps monitor performance through analytics. Working collaboratively across departments, the Advisor ensures that messaging is clear, inclusive, and aligned with organizational priorities.
