Over the years, we have built a comprehensive technology, management, and investment platform that has delivered outsized success for investors in our real estate assets. The integral relationship of our software platform and our operations is key to our success. Likewise, new technology developments drive operational change in a never-ending cycle of improvement. We embrace the DevOps culture by deploying changes into production quickly, providing rapid feedback, improvement and opportunity for further enhancement. There is a very close handshake between the rapidly developed technology and the implementation in the field. It’s native to how we do business. Our approach to providing this full enterprise solution to both the field (i.e. property operations and end customers) and head/back office personnel is through a combination of the development of native solutions that provide critical operational functionality for our business, and the seamless integration of value-add third party applications and services. Our belief is that technology drives our business strategy as much as the business landscape drives our technology strategy. The combination of this symbiotic perspective and a practical approach to solutions development has allowed Venterra to establish structural advantages in the multi-family marketplace, facilitating and contributing to Venterra’s industry-leading performance. Our team works in an informal style where we roughly plan each release but remain flexible, so we can react to business needs. We require all our development team (testers and coders) to build a deep knowledge of our business and be able to design practical, efficient solutions for business users. Our processes are only as defined as necessary, and we rely on our team members’ judgment to assess the best approach for each development item. The successful candidate will work as part of a distributed Technology team of 50 (Toronto & Dublin), helping maintain and expand our technology offerings.
