Description

Position Summary:

Be responsible for developing and executing point-of-sale marketing strategies to drive sales and visibility of the company's own brands, ensuring the growth and positioning of the group's own- and third-party brands. The trade marketing analyst must have both a strong technical and creative ability to design effective strategies and improve the performance of the brands at the point of sale through growth in coverage, sell-out, rotation, among others.

.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and execute trade marketing strategies that drive visibility and sales of private label and third party brands at the point of sale.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to implement in-store promotions, displays and loyalty programs.
  • Analyze in-store brand performance and develop solutions to improve visibility and performance.
  • Identify point-of-sale growth opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Manage the trade marketing budget and ensure it is used effectively to achieve company targets.
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest trade marketing trends and technologies.
  • Monitor the key indicators of own brands: coverage, sell-out, average ticket, rotation, purchase frequency, store footprint growth, margin, among others.
  • Manage performance reports of private label and third party brands.
  • Propose, plan and execute with the field and sales team strategies and plans for brand positioning and growth.
  • Monitor performance of commercial initiatives ensuring their effectiveness and profitability.
  • Generate reports for management according to stipulated frequency or by area projects.
  • Support and follow up the execution of short-date items actions.
  • Configuration and follow-up of promotions in commercial platform.
  •  Follow up on requests for projects and support from the commercial area of the group or by the company's partners or brands.
  • Monitor the performance of merchandisers of private label brands, ensuring the growth of spaces, execution of temporary and permanent POP materials (Perfect Store Execution), etc.
  • Follow up projects with commercial supervisors to identify opportunities for improvement in commercial processes and initiatives.
  • Generation of reports of bill-backs, chargebacks and budgets assigned by the brands.
  • New product launch tracking and control
  • Creation and follow-up of item codes for permanent POP material.
  • Manage and track the deployment and availability of POP material.
  • Monitor market competition and escalate opportunities to development and planning.
  • Steel toe or composite closed-toe shoes (protective safety footwear) are required in select business units.
  • Must be able to meet predictable attendance and punctuality expectations and physical demands of the position complying with Ethnix Group’s policies and performance expectations.
  • Monitor and respond to company contact sources, including chats, emails, and more. Prepare reports and analyses of all interactions.

Organizational Responsibilities:

Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).

Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Company, warehouse, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).

Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve the site's efficiency, profitability, and productivity.

Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, logistics tools, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training programs and by accessing other sources of information and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.

Work Hours (may vary by state or location):

This position is scheduled for 44 hours in a regular work week. Additional support within non-regular hours may be required and should be discussed with the supervisor. No additional compensation for overtime is offered for this position.

Education/Experience:

  • Experience: Previous job experience in Trade marketing, marketing in mass consumption companies, experience in marketing in food and beverage industries, Data analisis experience, among others
  • Bachelor’s degree in: marketing, Business administration, industrial engineer or equivalent is required.

Language Ability:

Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete documents, and answer questions in English and Spanish. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as needed.

Math Ability:

Demonstrated advnaced Mathematic and analytical skills.

Reasoning Ability:

Demonstrated ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

Demonstrated proficiency in office suite including but not limited to word, excel, PowerPoint, outlook, teams, etc.

 Advanced spreadsheet management programs to complete required reports and employment documents.

Intermediate level in SAP

Proficiency and fluency in using and navigating the internet and websites.

Certificates and Licenses:

  • TOEFL – English certificate or equivalent

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This position will be performed under the remote work mode. The company will provide the equipment and resources to perform the duties. Employees must be responsible for accommodating the proper workspace and connection (internet) resources to fulfill duties.
