STAR7 Group is recruiting a veterinarian to be part of our growing teams that could support with the translation of a book about clinical pathology for small animals, from English into German.

In this role you will:

Ensure target text correctly reflects the meaning of the source

Perform linguistic tasks as per project instructions and other references (translation memory, glossary, style guides, etc.)

Ensure highgrammatical accuracy while maintaining key terminology, spotting inconsistencies and incorrect cultural references

Correct formattingtagging, punctuation, country specifics, terminology, style, fluency as per guidelines

Requirements

Degree in Veterinary Medicine.

Native speaker in German language.

Excellent command of the English language in both comprehension and writing.

Preferred experience in translation and proofreading specialized in veterinary field.

Comfortable with technology and open to learn to use new tools.

Linguistic and cultural competences of both source and target language.

Adaptive to fastpaced work environment with multiple changes of project priorities.

Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Problem solving and decisionmaking skills.
