Your mission
Join our Compliance team as we deliver essential fire safety surveying works across a large and complex portfolio of highsecurity buildings. Youll play a key role in identifying fire safety system assets, undertaking detailed Regulation 38 compliance surveys, and helping deliver bestinclass reporting and documentation.

Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Fire Safety Surveyor to support a newly awarded contract involving the fire surveying of over 40 secure buildings across a highprofile estate.
You will be responsible for conducting detailed fire safety surveys across a diverse range of occupied, operational, and technical sites, including plant rooms, workshops, offices, changing facilities, and critical electrical infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
Undertaking Regulation 38compliant fire compartmentation surveys, identifying breaches and deficiencies
Surveying fire doors, emergency lighting, fire dampers, signage, suppression systems, and gas shutoffs
Marking up drawings and capturing asset data with QR coding and digital field tools
Producing detailed written reports, with photographic evidence and floor plan overlays
Managing access and scheduling in close collaboration with project and site leads
Ensuring compliance with key standards, including Approved Document B, PAS 911, and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
Working safely and professionally in controlled environments, following sitespecific security and PPE procedures

Your profile
Were looking for someone who:
Has a minimum of 5 years’ experience in fire safety surveying or fire strategy reporting
Has demonstrable experience delivering reports aligned with Regulation 38, BS 9999, and PAS 911
Can interpret and update CAD drawings (AutoCAD proficiency desirable)
Is confident working in secure, highcontrol environments with strict access protocols
Has strong reportwriting and stakeholder communication skills
Holds a full UK driving licence and has the right to work in the UK
