Position Summary:

The position will take part in planning, reviewing, building, and controlling all activities and functions in terminology management, including mapping to healthcare standards. The Clinical Terminologist will leverage available resources, metrics, benchmarks, system standards, policies, and procedures to achieve all terminology management activities. The Clinical Terminologist will work closely with product management and engineering to manage the terminology used in Rhapsodys products.

Job Responsibilities:

Clinical Terminology management Plan, develop, and maintain standard and nonstandard clinical vocabularies such as SNOMED, CPT, RxNORM, HCPCS, LOINC, ATC, UCUM, etc
Create and maintain subsets and value sets that leverage standard vocabularies
Communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to analyze the needs and requirements for Rhapsody’s Semantic Content
Engage with internal teams as a subject matter expert to help drive innovative developments andor enhancement of our product portfolio
Stay current on emerging trends in Health Informatics and clinical operations
Performs other duties as assigned
