Investment Execution & Trade Operations – Derivatives Operations
You will work with the investment teams and the technology group to ensure timely and accurate trade management and execution. You will manage a global portfolio covering various derivatives instruments across Equities, Fixed Income, and Commodities asset classes. This includes Exchange-Traded Futures and Options, OTC Swaps and Options, Foreign Exchange, and Cash.

You will be part of a team that is an integrated investment service team that partners the business in providing services to support public markets investment.
What will you do as a Derivatives Operations Associate/ AVP?
Support Trading Activities for Derivatives Asset Classes:
- Process trades for various derivatives instruments.
- Provide asset servicing for both OTC and exchange-traded derivatives.
- Ensure prompt receipt and matching of trade confirmations.
- Facilitate timely settlement of all trades across global markets, ensuring sufficient funding and compliance with internal and custodian bank cut-off times.
Operational Coordination and Service Level Management:
- Collaborate with external counterparties, brokers, and service providers to resolve operational issues and assess service levels, ensuring compliance with required standards.
- Engage with external vendors (brokers, counterparties, clearers, custodian banks, industry groups) to stay updated on market developments.
New Product and Market Implementation:
- Evaluate and implement new products and markets for investment by portfolio managers.
System and Process Enhancements:
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and ongoing process improvements.
- Collaborate on cross-team projects to foster teamwork and innovation.
- Drive process improvements to enhance productivity and quality, designing and integrating solutions into existing workflows.
- Utilize technological and automation tools, combined with a strong understanding of business needs, to streamline work processes
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Minimum of 2 years in Investment Operations, preferably with a focus on Derivatives.
- Strong drive to deliver excellent work with attention to detail and meticulousness, along with strong analytical abilities and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Stay updated with industry developments, resourceful, and able to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Good team player who collaborates well with internal and external counterparts, self-motivated, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of leveraging AI toolkits is advantageous.
