PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

To actively contribute to the company vision of making holiday dreams come true by:

  • Reconciling and recording all bank journal entries in the general ledger for Club Wyndham South Pacific.
  • Liaising with Consumer Finance department and banking partners in relation to daily transactions
  • Assist with treasury and investments
  • Preparation and posting of transactions within the Attache accounting system, in line with relevant accounting standards and processes.
  • Reconciliation of intercompany accounts.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating general accrual and prepayment registers.
  • Oversee financial monthend reporting function for Club Wyndham Administration internal departments (seven departments).
  • Preparation of monthend journals relating to reservations revenue and Owner levies revenue recognition.
  • Month end deliverables as directed.
  • Monthly reconciliation of selected accounts.
  • Ensuring tight financial controls are maintained and enhanced in compliance with group directives, policies and sound accounting practices.
  • Assisting the CWSP Management Accountant with the delivery of financial and accounting projects.
    • OTHER POTENTIAL TASKS:

      Other potential tasks to be carried out on top of the primary tasks:

      • Preparation and submission of capital expenditure requests
      • Processing payroll journals and subsequent reconciliations
      • Assist team members with reporting deliverables including the preparation of monthly P&L’s
      • Collection of resort invoices and preparation of consolidated payment worksheets to assist accounts payable
      • Resort banking reconciliation including review and follow up of debtors
      • Review of supplier housekeeping invoices and subsequent data entry to ensure accurate record keeping
      • Asset management tasks including completion of asset clearing account
      • Maintenance and allocation of land tax schedules
      • Data entry of resort utilities consumption into resourcing tool
        • PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include but not limited to:)

          • Posting of journals in a timely and accurate manner.
          • Prepare and post monthly accrual and prepaid expense journals.
          • Posting of intercompany journals and reconciling intercompany trade accounts.
          • Preparation and posting of general journals and resolution of queries from stakeholders.
          • Completion of tasks assigned in month end accounting checklist.
          • Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis.
          • Reconciliation of bank accounts in Attache.
          • Identify any area of weakness in controls and recommendtake action.
          • Perform additional tasks as requested from time to time.

              • Accounting degree or qualification

              • Ability to provide outstanding customer service
