Who We're Looking For

The SAP Finance Functional Analyst will collaborate with cross functional teams to assist with implementation and support for SAP Finance processes and applications, specializing in modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, FSCM and Asset Accounting, with expertise in integrations with 3rd party applications and full life cycle implementations.

Some of What You'll Do

Scope of the Role:

Direct Reports: This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and follow best practices.
  • Designing, implementing, and supporting complex business processes in an SAP environment
  • Designing, building, testing, and deploying SAP FICO technical solutions, emphasizing RICEFs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) design.
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document business requirements
  • Writing of Functional Specifications independently and coordinating development work with the ABAP team.
  • Design and test solutions to ensure they meet business requirements efficiently and effectively and provide training to end users and support users globally on best practices

Experience, Education, and Certifications:

  • BA/BS in Accounting, MIS or related field; MS or MBA a plus
  • 4 to 6 years of SAP Finance implementation and support experience
  • Minimum of 4 years SAP experience in the following modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, FSCM – Dispute & Collections Management, Inter-company Accounting, Project System, Purchasing and Bank Accounting.
  • 2 years full life cycle implementation experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM, SD and HR, vendor invoice management, third party billing systems and MDM.
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills & ability to provide support to global users
  • Able to mediate opposing viewpoints & work well in a team environment
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, Excellent oral and written communication skills of complex and technical concepts. 
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, Accounting concepts and terminology
  • Ability to express information and ideas clearly to internal non-technical customers as well as requirements to developers
  • Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices
