We’re looking for an Account Manager at Lightspeed, you will be part of our APAC Retail team and you will be responsible for managing inbound sales for our retail stores based in the APAC market. Your role will be working closely with a large range of merchants to build rapport, understand their objectives and ensure they’re getting the best solution possible to help them achieve their goals.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Act as a trusted Account Manager to customers who inquire about further Lightspeed offerings, to understand their requirements and provide solutions that add value to the customer, tailoring recommendations to the customers needs and preferences 
  • Build trust and rapport and demonstrate active listening to support your focus of upselling and maximising account growth in every customer interaction
  • Guide qualifying customers through their upgrade path from basic platforms to more advanced platforms 
  • Demonstrate software solutions to customers, from core POS products to modules and upgrades
  • Responsible for reactive upsell from inbound sales and expansion monthly recurring revenue

  • Experience in an account management, sales development representative or similar role carrying a sales quota
  • Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment
  • Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organise pipeline
  • Entrepreneurial approach; you work smarter not harder 
  • Good time management with strong organisational skills
