    • What you will do

      • Collaborate remotely with the Marine Design Team (Manchester, UK) on mechanical design aspects of marine fire suppression systems
      • Create detailed CAD drawings, mechanical schematics, P&ID’s, equipment datasheets, and hydraulic calculations
      • Ensure designs meet client specifications and comply with approval authority regulations
      • Provide design and documentation support to the Senior Design Engineer and Project Manager
      • Contribute to the development of fire protection solutions for marine environments, including sprinkler, foam, gaseous, and local application systems
        • What we look for

          Essential

          • Proven experience in Marine Fire Suppression Systems
          • Proficiency in AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation software (e.g., FireCAD or equivalent)
          • Ability to interpret technical specifications and regulatory requirements
          • Strong communication skills for remote collaboration with clients and internal teams
          • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
          • Willingness to obtain UK MOD Security Clearance
            • Preferred

              • HNCHND or equivalent in Engineering
              • Experience in the marine industry or MoD contracts
              • Background in fire protection systems (Sprinkler, Foam, Novec, CO₂, Inergen)
