Enea is seeking a collaborative and customerfocused Senior Presales Engineer to join our Network Security team. You will play a key role in supporting growth across Africa and beyond, working in a supportive, flexible, and inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued.

Role and Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will partner with customers to understand their goals, design tailored solutions, and present these in a way that aligns with their technical and business needs. You’ll also support smooth transitions into postsales engagements, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction and identifying future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to sales teams during the sales process in a collaborative and consultative manner.
  • Lead inclusive and engaging customer meetings and workshops to understand needs and propose solutions.
  • Deliver clear, customeroriented presentations, demos, and proofs of concept (PoC).
  • Collaborate with technical and sales teams to cocreate solution strategies.
  • Support proposal development and ensure solutions are appropriately sized and aligned with customer expectations.
  • Share insights and contribute to strategic planning during the sales cycle.
  • Represent Enea at events to foster connection and showcase our solutions.
  • Lead or contribute to customer training sessions.
  • Share knowledge and learn from crossfunctional teams to improve offerings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, maintaining a learning mindset and commitment to innovation.
        • Qualifications, Key Skills and Competence

          • 7+ years in technical presales, solution engineering, or related roles in telecom or cybersecurity.
          • Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
          • Experience working with customers to design solutions and support decisionmaking.
          • Understanding of mobile network architectures and protocols (2G3G4G5GIMS).
          • Familiarity with cloudnative and virtualized infrastructure (OpenStack, VMware, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure).
          • Knowledge of telecom security use cases and core protocols (e.g., SS7, Diameter, GTP, SIP).
          • Comfort with Linuxbased systems and scripting (Shell, Python, or Perl).
          • Experience with network technologies (e.g., TCPIP, DNS, HTTP2).
          • Familiarity with regulatory standards (3GPP, GSMA) is a plus.
          • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
          • Willingness to learn and adapt; proactive in contributing to team success
