CRM & Email Marketing Executive (Mid-weight)

Location:
Remote – South Africa

Working Hours:
9am – 5pm UK time (Monday to Friday)

Job Description:
Our client is looking for a CRM & Email Marketing Executive to join their growing remote team. This role is perfect for someone who knows how to get inside a customer’s mind, can design and build impactful email flows, and understands the mechanics behind great CRM systems.

You’ll work directly with clients to craft strategic journeys, send compelling campaigns, and optimise performance through segmentation, testing and clever automations. Confidence in Klaviyo is a must — experience with other ESPs is a bonus.

This role suits someone who’s ready to take ownership of client accounts, manage multiple moving parts, and contribute meaningfully to overall CRM strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, write, and launch high-performing email marketing campaigns across multiple client accounts

  • Design and build automated flows and customer journeys in Klaviyo (and similar ESPs)

  • Analyse campaign data, identify trends, and turn insights into action

  • Segment audiences for smarter targeting and better engagement

  • Work closely with clients to shape their CRM and retention strategies

  • Keep projects running smoothly and communications clear

  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve messaging, processes or performance

  • Potential to bring on your own clients (optional but welcomed)



Requirements


  • 3+ years experience in email marketing or CRM-focused roles

  • Solid knowledge of Klaviyo and confidence to learn other platforms as needed

  • Strong copywriting skills — with a grasp on tone, persuasion and clarity

  • Experience working with e-commerce brands and revenue-driving campaigns

  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice to Have:

  • Strategic thinking with a commercial mindset

  • Basic design ability or use of tools like Canva or Figma

  • Experience with customer segmentation, list hygiene, and growth tactics

  • Worked in an agency or across multiple client accounts

  • Familiarity with broader marketing or performance metrics

  • Ability to manage a full project lifecycle independently

  • A decent meme game (not essential, but culture matters here)
