Job description

What do we do?

Paddle offers digital product companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of paymentsrelated apps and services, we’re a Merchant of Record for our customers. That means we take away 100% of the pain of payment fragmentation. It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.

We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 5000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.

The Role:

After seeing early momentum from a handful of strategic partnerships, we believe they’ll be a key driver of growth in our next phase. For this reason, we’re now looking for a strategic and highimpact Senior Partnerships Executive to build our partnerships function from the ground up. You’ll play a foundational role in shaping how Paddle identifies, builds, and scales partnerships that expand our reach, strengthen our offering, and create value for our customers.

This is a highvisibility, highautonomy individual contributor role that requires commercial acumen, strong crossfunctional collaboration and the ability to operate both strategically and tactically. Reporting to the CRO, International, you will work closely with teams across Product, Sales, Marketing and Legal to define our approach to partnerships and deliver measurable impact. You will also be a key member of the broader GTM team at Paddle, helping us build scalable growth across global markets.

What youll do:

  • Identify, evaluate and lead strategic partnership opportunities across Paddle’s partner ecosystem, including technology partners, referral partners and strategic alliances.

  • Own endtoend partnership lifecycle: from initial outreach and partnership development, GTM alignment and overall performance tracking.

  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with Product, Marketing, Sales and Legal to build scalable partnership models and deliver measurable business outcomes.

  • Shape Paddle’s partner strategy by identifying market trends, white space opportunities and competitive insights.

  • Represent Paddle externally with credibility and strategic clarity in partner conversations, events and comarketing opportunities.

  • Drive adoption and growth of key partnerships, ensuring alignment with Paddle’s commercial and product goals.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams, sharing partner insights and influencing roadmaps and GTM priorities

    • Wed love to hear from you if you have:

      • 8+ years of experience in partnerships, business development or strategic alliances, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech or platformbased businesses.

      • A proven track record of closing and scaling highvalue, multistakeholder partnerships with measurable impact.

      • Strong commercial acumen, with an ability to model partnership economics, negotiate value exchange, and align with business goals.

      • Experience navigating complex ecosystems such as payment infrastructure, SaaS tooling, developer platforms or marketplace integrations.

      • Exceptional communication and relationshipbuilding skills, both internally and externally.

      • The ability to operate with high autonomy and accountability, often in ambiguity, while collaborating effectively with diverse teams.

      • A strategic mindset combined with a bias for execution; you can see the big picture and still deliver results quickly.

        • Everyone is welcome at Paddle

At Paddle, we’re committed to removing invisible barriers, both for our customers and within our own teams. We recognise and celebrate that every Paddler is unique and we welcome every individual perspective. As an inclusive employer, we don’t care if, or where, you studied, what you look like or where you’re from. We’re more interested in your craft, curiosity, passion for learning and what you’ll add to our culture. We encourage you to apply even if you don’t match every part of the job ad, especially if you’re part of an underrepresented group.

Please let us know if there’s anything we can do to better support you through the application process and in the workplace. We will do everything we can to support any accommodations needed. We’re committed to building a diverse team where everyone feels safe to be their authentic self. Let’s grow together.

Why you’ll love working at Paddle

We are a diverse, growing group of Paddlers across the globe who pride ourselves on our transparent, collaborative and respectful culture.

We live and breathe our values, which are:

          Paddle for others

          Paddle together

          Paddle simply

We offer a full suite of benefits, including attractive salaries, stock options, retirement plans, private healthcare and wellbeing initiatives.

We are a ‘digitalfirst’ company, which means you can work remotely, from one of our stylish hubs, or even a bit of both! We offer all team members unlimited holidays and enhanced parental leave. We invest in learning and will help you with your personal development via constant exposure to new challenges, an annual learning fund, and regular internal and external training.
