Director of Demand Generation

At Hive, we are dedicated to creating moments that matter by connecting event marketers to their biggest fans. We are seeking a Director of Demand Generation to lead and scale a highperforming demand generation engine that drives revenue and accelerates Hive’s growth across email, SMS, and advertising channels. This is a handson leadership role focused on experimentation, accountability, and building a Demand Gen team that moves fast and efficiently, with AI as a key unlock.

What does being a Director of Demand Generation at Hive look like?

You’ll sit at the intersection of Demand Gen, Revenue, and Operations. You’ll lead our Demand Gen team with a playercoach mindset, rolling up your sleeves to launch and iterate fullfunnel campaigns while empowering the team to do their best work. You’ll drive a weighted revenue pipeline to sales, manage a tightly focused experimental roadmap, and obsess over the right metrics from CPL to CAC: LTV. Reporting to our CEO, youll help bring Hives brand and value proposition to life in a way that drives measurable impact.
We’re building a small but mighty team, lean, modern, and efficient in how we work. You’ll help shape a smart mix of tech, inhouse talent, and specialized contractors to ensure we stay agile, highimpact, and focused on what moves the needle.

What you’ll do:
  • Own and grow the pipeline: You’ll be responsible for driving a qualified, weighted revenue pipeline to sales.

  • Execute marketing campaigns: Build and optimize fulllifecycle campaigns across paid ads, email, and events, focusing on learning fast, measuring everything, and iterating.

  • Drive experimentation: Build a clear roadmap of demand gen experiments to test hypotheses quickly, track outcomes rigorously, and evolve our GTM engine.

  • Be revenueobsessed: Analyze campaign performance through CAC: LTV, CPL, and conversion rates to inform strategy and inform next bets.

  • Manage & grow the team: Build a healthy, highperforming environment grounded in clear expectations, regular feedback, and strong performance management. Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and recognition, where people understand their impact and how they’re progressing.

  • Partner crossfunctionally: Work with RevOps and Sales to identify highpotential ICP accounts and bring them into the funnel with personalized, accountbased plays.

  • Scale with AI: Drive how our Demand Gen team leverages AI across content, campaign execution, data analysis, and reporting to operate with speed and precision.
