In this role you will have the opportunity to:
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the annual budget, quarterly reforecasts and monthly rolling forecasts, supporting the streamlining of the budgeting process.
  • Work with business units and Finance teams to gather inputs for monthly, quarterly, and annual expense forecasts.
  • Perform variance analysis on actuals to forecast and assist in identifying key drivers for review with senior team members.
  • Support the financial reporting team during monthend close by preparing data and reconciliations for accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for external board reporting and other deliverables.
  • Provide assistance on adhoc projects.

  • Were looking for somebody who has:
  • 13 years of experience in a financial or analytical role (FP&A experience is an asset).
  • Good analytical and problemsolving skills with strong attention to detail; proficient in Excel (or Google Sheets) and PowerPoint (or Google Slides). Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Adaptive Insights) is a plus.
  • Experience with pulling & analyzing data; developing financial modeling skills.
  • Familiarity with SQL and the ability to build basic queries to support analysis is a strong asset.
  • Prior experience working in or with financial institutions (e.g., banks, brokerages, or FinTechs) is considered an advantage.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastgrowing, dynamic environment.
  • A passion for understanding business processes and contributing to problemsolving.
  • A curious nature; if something seems off, flag it for investigation and assist in understanding the issue.
  • Good interpersonal skills and willingness to work collaboratively with team members; able to communicate effectively.
  • Good communication skills, including clear writing and the ability to present data effectively. Supports in conveying the story behind the numbers.
  • Openness to new ways of doing things and an interest in continuous improvement and supporting automation efforts.
  • Eager to learn, contributes ideas, and shows initiative in completing assigned tasks.
