The Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to build a robust, scalable, and operational infrastructure that will enable Veeva to quickly and efficiently scale to meet the needs of our multibillion dollar customer base. Your focus will be ensuring Veevas products are delivered to our customers quickly and with the best quality possible. What Youll Do
Provide indepth software development expertise focusing on cloud architecture, design patterns, and programming
Implement DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and automated deployment
Develop, deploy, and manage CICD workflows, automating tasks across the full lifecycle to enhance developer experience and efficiency
Construct, manage, and deploy infrastructure utilizing Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes
Recommend architectural enhancements, design, and integration solutions, and establish methodologies and best practices
Aim to minimize the risk of reliabilityrelated failures, focusing on durability, availability, performance, and correctness

Requirements
3+ years of experience in DevOps roles, emphasizing tooling, automation, and development of distributed systems
Extensive experience in designing, and programming applications within an AWS Cloud environment
Proficiency in designing and implementing applications using Container and serverless technologies
Handson experience with Ansible or Terraform
Handson experience with docker orchestrations such as Kubernetes, openshift
Expertise in configuration management platforms
Experience in developing in Python
Proficient in programming in Java, Scala, Go, or similar languages
Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, Codefresh)
Familiarity with monitoring frameworks to track infrastructure and application health and performance
Excellent skills in proposal writing, project estimation, presentation, and documentation
Candidate must be in the AST, CST, or EST time zone
We are looking for strong mentors with a proven record of making your team better

Compensation

Base pay: $85,000 $225,000 CAD

The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus andor stock bonus.
