Job description

This is a remote position.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in technical customer success, software engineering, sales engineering, or site reliability engineering.
  • Solid Linux/Unix fundamentals.
  • Good understanding of coding and hands-on ability to debug programs.
  • Good system design skills.
  • Hands-on engineering roles including operating production environments in public clouds: AWS GCP or Azure.
  • Experience with modern cloud environments: Docker & containerisation, infrastructure-as-code, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Automation.
  • Experience with operating Kubernetes clusters.
  • Modern monitoring/logging architectures (ability to talk through and discuss the architectures of these systems like Prometheus, grafana, ELK, fluent-bit, DataDog, etc. ).
  • Must have a keen interest in observability.
  • Hands-on experience with network security, and database systems like WAF, OWASP, etc.
  • Customer-facing role: You have to be comfortable working with customers and troubleshooting matters.
  • Bachelors or master's Degrees from a good CS program.
  • Customer Facing Role experience is a plus.
  • Always ready to get things done.
  • Take initiative and be a self-starter.
  • Prior Startup experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to empathise with customers.
