Job description

This is a remote position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions.
  2. Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
  3. Manage client relationships and needs.
  4. Complete and/or supervise and review close process for various companies monthly.
  5. Create and analyze financial reports and metrics to communicate company results and aid in vital decision-making processes.
  6. Implement General Ledger, payroll, and billing systems for newly formed entities.
  7. Lead recurring financial statement review calls with clients.
  8. Oversee and manage internal team of Accounting Managers and Bookkeepers, including implementing and monitoring processes and work products.
  9. Supervise internal team responsible for account receivable / accounts payable work on various companies.
  10. Assist in on-boarding new staff accountants, assessing needs, and establishing team and work plans per company.
  11. Assess on-going accounting operations and systems and offer recommendations for improvement.
  12. Assist with hiring, training, and developing the accounting team.
  13. Track and help drive revenue, sales and marketing activities, KPIs
  14. Communicate with clients via email and phone


Requirements
KEY COMPENTENCIES:

  • Mastery of English at C2 level is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accountancy and any related courses. 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience (bookkeeping, accounting, financial statements preparation, A/R or A/P, FP&A, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrative knowledge of QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Microsoft Excel, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is a must.
  • CPA or CMA Certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with bill.com, Gusto, Brex, and similar platforms is a plus
  • Familiarity with e-commerce, manufacturing and/or inventory accounting is a plus

Salary:

php70,000-120,000
