Job Summary:

Valore Partners is a fast-growing SaaS team seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to build new features, lead API development, and support a live platform relied on by thousands of small businesses. This role combines hands-on coding, architectural ownership, and cross-functional collaboration in a modern, customer-focused product environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs with a focus on scalability and clean documentation

• Build and enhance features using PHP, Laravel, and JavaScript

• Lead technical planning and architectural decisions for select features

• Maintain and improve the existing codebase

• Participate in on-call incident response rotation

• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality releases

• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews

• Contribute to the technical roadmap with a focus on performance and growth

• Stay current with web development trends and best practices

Qualifications:

Required:

• 5+ years building and maintaining RESTful APIs

• Experience owning API documentation

• 5+ years developing web applications with PHP

• Experience or exposure to Laravel

• Strong understanding of relational databases and large codebases

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

• Comfortable working in Agile environments

• Self-directed with strong problem-solving and project ownership

Preferred:

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React)

• Familiarity with AlpineJS and/or jQuery

• Experience building or migrating cloud-ready apps (AWS)

• Experience with development containers

• Prior remote work experience
